RESEARCH
Pinterest- I used Pinterest on multiple occasions mainly for audience research. It allows you to
group and caption photos. I found it very useful when
presenting different social groups and target audiences. I created two Pinterest's. The first one is showing our films target audience. The second is a location recce.
Blogger- Blogger
has provided me with an easily accessible tool for presenting
my work. It also provides me with a way of constantly updating
my work and so it is clear for the examiner.
Pictochart-
Pictochart is a tool that provides me with an attractive and interesting
way to present data that in some cases can appear to look dull. By using
Pictochart I could carry out research for example on exit poles numbers of
films and present them in a way that is clear to both the examiners and
me. I created a Pictochart to show the exit poles data of previous films that would have a similar audience to our film.
Slide Share- Slide
share has allowed me to present information creatively on my blog
with out it being a long wordy paragraph. It also allows me to present my work
publicly. I used Slide share for clearly showing information on given Case
Studies such as the Hunger Games, this way I could also ass images to my
text. I made a slide share to show information in a more creative way. I made one showing the research I had done on our Target Audience and the other is a case study on the Hunger Games showing how they distributed their film.
Twitter- Twitter
is a social networking tool that easily has provided me with a
way of carrying out research on other films and case studies.
PLANNING
Trello-I have used the site Trello to keep myself organised and up to date on my blog and for the rest of the As course. I created one with three columbus labelled to do, doing and done so that I can move the cards once I had completed and posted that piece of work.
Facetime- I have use face time on my mac laptop and my iPhone to communicate with my fellow group members when we need to discuss elements about our film opening. It has been very useful as it means we can have everything prepared and organised before we come in to film.
WhatsApp- My group and I have a WhatsApp group so we can remind each other when we are filming, what we need to bring and to share picture that we have taken of our set or during filming.
iPhone- I have used my I phone 5s to take photos and videos that I can then easily upload to my laptop. Also I have used apps on my phone, for example Fipagram and snapchat.

CONSTRUCTION
Camera- when filming my group and I used the Cannon D550 digital
camera. It was easy to use and produced very clear footage. It was also useful
that it could produce moving footage as well as stills.
iStop Motion- I used istop motion software to create an ident for the
opening of our film. I used the onion
cutting technique to create moving animation. By using this method it allows
the ident to be smooth and professional.
iMovie- I have used iMovie with my group to edit the footage that we
have filmed for our opening. This software allows us to crop of footage, add
music sound effects and voice overs and also change the colour composure.
MacBook Air- I have used my MacBook air to almost every activity, to
update my blog, research and edit footage.
PowerPoint- I have used power point to create distribution pictures and website pages.
EVALUATION
YouTube- I have
used YouTube to upload and present my work for example my ident and preliminary
exercise.
Snap chat- I
used snap chat to upload photos and information in a fun and creative way an
example of this would be uploading photos of the different sets that we filmed.
Facebook-
Facebook as been ideal for gaining feedback from my friends and family on our
film opening.
An impressive range of new technologies used appropriately. Well done!
